MakerDAO创始人提议重塑DAI稳定币品牌，包括设计一个含有美元的新名称:3月10日消息，在周四与社区成员的电话会议上，MakerDAO的创始人Rune Christensen表示，MakerDAO应该重新命名稳定币DAI，让“普通人”更容易理解。Christensen在电话讨论中表示，品牌形象不佳可能会抑制其增长该协议的去中心化计划，即“Endgame Plan（终局计划）”。

Christensen表示：“如果稳定币想吸引普通人，正确名称必须含有USD（美元）。但新名称意味着代币将继续与美元挂钩，而且不能保证一定会挂钩。”他呼吁“彻底重塑品牌、全新名称、全新外观、完全不同的用户获取方法”，并称这是“控制叙事的唯一方法”。他补充说，MakerDAO应该将DAI定位为用户可以用来产生收益的货币。他认为，DAI应该被视为“最安全、最可靠的游戏化加密货币”。并非所有与会者都认可Christensen的论点。（CoinDesk）[2023/3/10 12:53:23]
